    Fly to Oslo airport, where on arrival, you'll transfer to your hand-picked hotel, setting the stage for exploring Norway's capital. Once settled in, perhaps you'll begin at the National Gallery, where Edvard Munch's "The Scream" awaits, followed by a stroll through the captivating Vigeland Sculpture Park, home to hundreds of expressive statues. Travel back in time as you delve into Viking history at the Viking Ship Museum, and as evening approaches, embrace the vibrant atmosphere and culinary delights of Aker Brygge's renowned restaurants.

  • Day 2 » Kristiansand

    Depart Oslo mid-morning as you trace Norway's southern coastline with a scenic train journey, with glimpses of the North Sea and charming coastal towns en route. Once you arrive in Kristiansand, Norway's southernmost city, an overnight stay allows for a thorough exploration of its attractions. The city boasts a vibrant port pier and the newly opened Kunstsilo Nordic Art Museum, while visitors can wander through Posebyen, the oldest district, discovering the hidden Posebyhaven with its cafes and shops. Kristiansand offers a plethora of dining options for tonight, from cosy outdoor restaurants clustered in Markens, Torvet, and Fiskebrygga, to Boen Gård, a short drive from the city centre, offering an exceptional gourmet experience.

Upon arrival in Stavanger – a vibrant city known for its oil industry and access to the Lysefjord – check into your accommodation. Spend the evening exploring the charming city centre, including the well-preserved wooden houses of Old Stavanger, the historic Stavanger Cathedral, and the colourful Fargegaten. Discover the city's cultural scene with visits to the Stavanger Art Museum and its street art. Conclude your day by indulging in Stavanger's diverse culinary offerings, choosing from Michelin-starred restaurants or inviting brasseries.

  • Day 4 » Hike to Preikestolen

    Following breakfast, take a short morning stroll to Strandkaien, the starting point of your day trip to Preikestolen. Depart by electric boat through the breathtaking Lysefjord, renowned for its striking cliffs and wild landscapes, reaching Forsand, a small village home to just 500 residents where the Preikestolen bus will transport you to the Pulpit Rock Cabin base. From there, you'll undertake the iconic Pulpit Rock hike, traversing marshes, forests and stone stairs built by Sherpas from Nepal to protect the terrain and facilitate the trip. The approximately 4-hour round trip will reward you with unparalleled panoramic views from the summit of the meandering blue Lysefjord, sculpted by ancient glaciers – a site featured in Mission Impossible - Fallout. Finally, the Preikestolen bus provides a comfortable return journey to Stavanger.

    For a more challenging workout, we suggest a hike to Kjeragbolten. Should you wish to give hiking a miss altogether, we would recommend a visit to Flor & Fjaere - Stavanager's own tropical Island.

  • Days 5-6 » Bergen

    Today features a scenic bus journey from Stavanger to Norway's second largest city, Bergen, showcasing the country's spectacular southwestern coastline. Expect comfortable travel and breathtaking views of the North Sea. In Bergen, we've included a funicular ride to the summit of Mount Fløyen for panoramic city views. The rest of the day allows for independent exploration of Bergen, taking advantage of the long summer nights. Similarly, we've included an extra day for a chance to delve into Bergen's attractions. Options include a visit to Troldhaugen (Edvard Grieg's home), numerous museums, experiencing the lively Fish Market and discovering the UNESCO World Heritage site of Bryggen.   • Day 7 » Flåm

    Check out and set off by rail this morning as you travel to the small resort town of Voss, located between the Hardangerfjord and Sognefjord. The journey is accompanied by stunning views of glorious fjords and emerald green hills. After admiring its lush forest valleys and snow-capped mountains, continue on the scenic journey to Stalheim by bus, including a photo stop overlooking the breathtaking Nærøydalen valley – one of the most stunning view anywhere in Norway. From Stalheim, switch busses for Gudvangen, an authentic viking village on the Nærøyfjord before a slow electric boat cruise sweeps you along the UNESCO-protected Nærøyfjord towards the village of Flåm. In Flåm, we have included a guided sightseeing tour to the stunning Stegastein viewpoint. This must-do experience takes you through steep switchback roads up the mountainside to the viewpoint, a 30-meter-long platform standing 650 meters above sea level, with panoramic views of the Aurlandsfjord.

  • Day 8 » Oslo

    After breakfast, set off on the renowned Flåm Railway, one of the world's steepest standard-gauge lines, as it weaves through the mountains, showcasing remarkable spiral tunnels, a testament to human ingenuity—especially considering 18 of its 20 tunnels were hand-carved. Along the way, the train reveals a panorama of cascading rivers, deep ravines, majestic waterfalls plummeting down sheer cliffs and snow-capped peaks with quaint farms clinging to their slopes. Arriving at Myrdal, perched some 867 meters above sea level, you'll switch trains, heading towards Oslo. There are optional stops on the way if you wish to stop and overnight at either the small mountain village of Finse or Geilo. Arriving in Oslo this afternoon, enjoy your final night in the capital, perhaps trying out one of the many diverse dining options available.
