You’ll also be brought out into the Longyear Valley, where you’ve a good chance of spotting the local reindeer and, in summer, thousands of migratory birds. Of course, your local guide is always on hand to keep you informed about the flora and fauna. Then, a pause at Adventdalen’s mines, will see you on to the site of the Global Seed Vault – a reserve of the world’s seeds, buried safely into a mountainside. Then, at the end of it all, you’ll be dropped back at your accommodation.
