UK to Harriniva
The trip begins with the convenience of a direct flight from the UK to Kittila, deep in the heart of Finnish Lapland. On arrival, you’ll be met by your local guide and taken, via coach transfer, to Harriniva, nestled high above the Arctic Circle. On the frozen banks of the Muonio River, the cozy hotel offers a quintessential Scandinavian escape. Snowmobile safari
Following a hearty breakfast, embark on a thrilling 20km snowmobile safari through the Arctic wonderland. Glide across the ice-slicked forest as children are pulled behind on a sled, creating magical memories. Enjoy frequent stops to frolic in the powdery snow, with plenty of chance to take photos. Back at the hotel, enjoy lunch before a free afternoon at your leisure. Why not walk across the frozen lake to Sweden (just 1.5 km away), or do some tobogganing.
After dinner this evening, there is the chance to do Gingerbread House decorating with the family if you so wish.

Reindeers & Snow Fun
Your morning begins with breakfast at the restaurant before a transfer to Torassieppi, home to Finland’s oldest reindeer farm. Here, families have the perfect chance to encounter Lapland's iconic residents up close. After feeding these gentle creatures and even trying your hand at lassoing, you’ll return to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, it’s time for some snow-filled fun. Choose from snowshoeing, mini-snowmobiling for kids, cross-country skiing, ice hockey, or tobogganing. While you explore the winter wonderland, warm up by the open fire with hot drinks, cookies, and toasted marshmallows. Tonight, enjoy a festive Finnish Christmas dinner featuring hearty traditional and regional dishes. If time permits, create unforgettable family memories with your own private sauna and hot tub session, overlooking the river.

Husky Safari & Santa Surprise.
Following breakfast you’ll have the chance to experience one of Lapland's most iconic adventures. Harriniva is home to a husky farm, where a pack of 400 individually named dogs reside just a short stroll from the hotel. After lunch, embark on a thrilling 6km husky safari. Adults can experience the joy of mushing (in pairs), while the children enjoy their own guided husky adventure. While the adults are exploring, children can spend quality time with the adorable puppies and dogs. Upon the adults' return, the little ones get their chance to try their hand at mini-mushing. Return to the hotel for lunch served in the restaurant.
Later in the day, feel the magic of the season as you bake cookies, craft festive decorations, and eagerly await a thrilling snowmobile adventure into the woods. Journey through the enchanting wintry forests to meet Father Christmas himself. Warm up with delicious pancakes cooked over an open fire before a personal encounter with Lapland’s beloved visitor. Treasured presents in hand, savour a final festive feast in cozy surroundings. The excitement continues with Christmas games and another surprise appearance from the man himself.
