    Begin by flying to Oslo from your chosen UK airport, where on arrival you will transfer to your city centre hotel. The afternoon and evening are yours to explore at your leisure. Oslo offers a wealth of attractions, catering to diverse interests. Art enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the expressive world of Edvard Munch at the MUNCH museum. Architecture and performing arts aficionados can admire the stunning design of the Oslo Opera House, perhaps even catching a performance. For a taste of modern Norwegian life, stroll along the vibrant waterfront of Aker Brygge, a former shipyard transformed into a bustling hub of restaurants, cafes and shops.

  • Day 2 » Sognefjord & the Bergen Railway

    Today's journey begins as you travel on the iconic Bergen Railway towards Myrdal. Featuring rugged mountains and verdant valleys, it is often regarded as one of the world's most beautiful train journeys. After a seamless switch at Myrdal, you'll board the Flåm Railway for an hour-long journey promising a world of cascading waterfalls that tumble down steep cliffs, deep ravines that carve through the landscape, and lush, serene vistas. On arrival, explore Flåm's charm, including its museum and brewery before continuing the journey by boat towards Balestrand. Following the majestic Sognefjord – Norway's longest and deepest fjord – glide through tranquil waters, surrounded by towering mountains that reflect in the pristine depths, and charming villages that dot the shoreline. Disembarking at Balestrand, a short, pleasant stroll leads you to the historic Kviknes Hotel, where you will enjoy a delightful buffet dinner and spend the rest of your evening at leisure.

  • Day 3 » Fjord glacier tour

    Today, a scenic boat journey carries you from Balestrand into the heart of the idyllic Fjærlandsfjorden. With its steep and forested mountainsides, Fjærlandsfjorden is one of Norway's most scenic spots, and this voyage takes you right through to Fjærland where the mighty Sognefjord meets the edge of the Jostedalsbreen glacier – arguably one of the world's most beautiful places to explore glaciers. On arrival In Fjærland, a comfortable bus transports you to the Norwegian Glacier Museum where you'll delve into the fascinating world of glaciers, before the tour continues up to Bøyabreen – a branch of Jostedalsbreen glacier. Witness the glacier's powerful embrace of the landscape before returning by bus to Fjærland quay, where your boat gently returns you to Balestrand in time for your evening dinner.

  • Day 5 » Hardangerfjord & Lofthus

The journey begins with a comfortable bus ride from Bergen to Norheimsund, a scenic route that unveils stunning views of deep fjords, valleys and quaint villages. En route, you'll pause at the exhilarating Steinsdalsfossen, a powerful waterfall just outside Norheimsund, where you'll have the unique opportunity to walk behind its cascading waters.

    Continuing on, explore Norheimsund, a charming town on the shores of Hardangerfjord, a gateway to numerous natural wonders. From there, embark on an express boat trip along the fjord, a mesmerising cruise that showcases the Hardangerfjord's rugged beauty., where you can expect towering cliffs, blooming orchards and picturesque settlements that line the water's edge. Finally, disembark at Lofthus for an overnight stay at the renowned Hotel Ullensvang.

  • Day 6 » Eidfjord to Voringsfossen & return to Oslo

    Begin your day with a scenic breakfast before an express boat journey from Lofthus, gliding deeper into the heart of the fjord towards Ulvik and then Eidfjord. Eidfjord itself is a vibrant hub, worthy of an overnight stay, where you can truly immerse yourself in the fjord's charm. Here, a comfortable bus awaits, whisking you away on a scenic drive through unique U-tunnels and thrilling switchback roads to the majestic Vøringsfossen, Norway's largest single-drop waterfall – in springtime, the cascade is a thundering spectacle. Explore the walkways and bridges, taking the time to capture some incredible photographs of this awe-inspiring sight.
