Day 1 » Arrival and Northern Lights tour
You’ll be met at the airport by a private transfer, which will see you to your chosen accommodation in Reykjavik. Then, after settling in, you’ll enjoy the first of your included tours – a Northern Lights Hunt. After consulting the forecast, your expert guide will bring you out to a remote, scenic setting far from any light pollution. Simply, this is the best chance of spotting the aurora. What’s more, as we’ve organised this on the first night, you’ll be able to take advantage of the aurora offer. If you don’t see the Lights, you’ll enjoy another hunt on a subsequent evening completely free of charge.

Day 2 » Golden Circle and Langjökull Glacier
Today, you’ll be treated to some of Iceland’s most spectacular geography. It all begins with Thingvellir National Park – a dramatic rift valley that’s home to the ruins of the world’s first parliament. It’s then on to Geysir geothermal area to marvel at steam vents, hot springs and powerful geyser that erupt almost every five minutes. The final stop on the Golden Circle is Gullfoss – one of the country’s most powerful waterfalls. Then, this afternoon, you’ll be brought off-road to the Langjökull Glacier, admiring the panoramic views from its great white expanse before returning to Reykjavik by way of Faxi Waterfall.
-
Day 3 » The south coast
Turning out of the city today, you’ll explore the lesser-visited treasures of Iceland’s south coast. It all begins with Katla – “The Secret Ice Cave” – and its accompanying glacier. Inside, its high walls of ice have been sculpted by glacial melt over the centuries. Then, it’s on to a magnificent pair of waterfalls in Seljalandsfoss and Skógafoss before you arrive at an iconic black-sand beach for a walk among the bird cliffs. There’s then some time to explore the quaint seaside town of Vík and Hveragerði’s collection of geothermally heated greenhouses before you return to Reykjavik.

Day 4 » Departure
On your last day, a private transfer will see you back to the airport.
