Day 2 » Tromso to Lyngen Experience Lodge & Northern Lights Experience
You have the morning and early afternoon to further explore Tromso. Late afternoon your included transfer will see you wind up to the snow-dappled Lyngen Alps, hopping on a scenic fjord ferry to arrive at your pine-log lodge. North facing, its uninterrupted sea views are perfect for spotting both porpoises and the Northern Lights, although the latter are perhaps best enjoyed from the outdoor Jacuzzi. Back inside, warm up with the sauna or by the fire before tucking into the first of your included chef’s choice dinners. Throughout, you can expect the finest in fresh, local ingredients, from mountain lamb and reindeer to fresh fish from the fjord.
It’s then time for your included Northern Lights experience. Your expert guide will lead you out into the forest to a hidden tent. Then, building a bonfire, eyes will turn skywards for a fantastic aurora display, weather permitting.

You’ll begin today with a wildlife-watching boat trip. Limited to just a dozen guests, it’s a delightfully intimate experience. It’s then time for lunch, coffee and snacks and an afternoon relaxing - why not book the sauna and jacuzzi and hopefully the northern lights will join you overhead.
