Dining is a real treat at Lyngen Experience. Breakfasts are a hearty affair, fuelling you up for the day’s activities, while dinners are a “chef’s choice” delight. Making use of fresh, local ingredients, menus follow the seasons; expect fish from the local fjord and lamb from the surrounding mountains. Lyngen Experience offers all the iconic Scandinavian winter fun. There’s everything from snowmobiling, dogsledding and reindeer sledding to Northern Light hunts, ice climbing and whale watching – a lodge speciality. There’s even wilderness skiing available. Then, come summer, scenic boat rides and hikes lead you between bright-blue lakes, fishing trips and dramatic mountain scenery, all under the Midnight Sun.
