Augustin Hotel is Bergen’s oldest family-run hotel, offering a cosy and intimate atmosphere in a central location on the harbour.

Eat

A complimentary, organic breakfast is offered to guests every morning, in addition to waffles served to guests between 4-5pm every afternoon. The kitchen is a recognised member of the ‘taste of the coast’ scheme, serving top-quality ingredients and using only the freshest produce. Altona, the hotel's 400 year old restored wine bar and restaurant is the only listed restaurant in the whole of Bergen.

Sleep

There are 130 rooms, all well-equipped with comfortable beds, bathtubs, writing desks and televisions. Walls are adorned with contemporary Norwegian art and add a real flourish to the atmosphere. We recommend requesting a recently renovated room, featuring underfloor heating and modern bathrooms, as well as the latest interior designs.

Do

Norway is all about adventure and exploration and, at the Augustin Hotel, you are perfectly located to discover some of the country's finest gems. Surrounding the hotel are opportunities to fish, hike, rent boats and uncover the theatres, clubs and markets that define the historic west coast port of Bergen.
