Accommodation is on bed and breakfast basis and due to the working farm nature of Lomamokkila, breakfasts are filled with fresh produce. An onsite restaurant is open from June until August, where home-reared beef and fish features on the menu. From smoked, marinated, cured, pickled and poached salmon served with lemon juice and lashes of dill to pike, perch and Baltic herring, the traditional Finnish cuisine served leans heavily toward fish. A farm shop sells a range of fresh produce for outdoor BBQ's, picnics and the cottage kitchens.

A range of accommodation options are available at Lomamokkila, from hotel rooms and lakeside cottages to guesthouses and garden houses. Our favorites are the timber-built lakeside cottages which sleep up to eight people. With a living area, kitchen, private sauna, veranda, outhouse and BBQ and beach access, these intimate retreats promise privacy.
