British Columbia Holidays 2024/2025

British Columbia on the west coast of Canada is one of the country’s most popular and attractive provinces, with Vancouver the favourite start point for many travellers to Canada.  See itinerary ideas

Vancouver is an idyllic base with high-quality architecture, museums, gardens and parks, shopping and restaurants to discover. Cross the Capilano Suspension bridge, the world’s longest and highest suspension bridge, to admire the surrounding forest and mountainous backdrop to the city.

Close by, on Vancouver Island, the Pacific Rim National Park offers whale watching, hiking trails and the chance to explore the Broken Islands Group archipelago. Clayoquot Sound is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve full of marine life and the Gulf islands have grizzly bear and bird watching opportunities on them.

If it’s whales you want to see though, Tofino is the place to look for migrating gray whales, humpback whales and killer whales. Take a cruise, boat trip or kayak expedition to see them in different ways.

Activity and adventure is easy to come across, with trekking on Grouse Mountain, fishing on the Campbell River, scuba diving and watersports on the Sunshine Coast and skiing at Whistler some of the most popular activities.
