Restaurant Kallkällan is rightly proud of its reputation for serving fabulous locally sourced food, including the likes of wild mushrooms, reindeer, cloudberries, local char and other delicious seafood. These are the cornerstones of Lappish cuisine, and the chef here combines them with other local ingredients to delicious effect. Do
A true year-round resort, the activities here change with the seasons, and all make the most of the spectacular surroundings. In summer, head out into the archipelago to try a spot of angling for Artic char, before dashing off on a mountain bike ride or plunging down rapids on a rafting trip. Then, in winter, join an expert guide for a spot of ice fishing, cooking your catch on a roaring fire, or hop on the back of a snowmobile or husky sled to weave your way through the trees in search of delightful woodland critters, from mink to moose. Repeat the same trick at night time to catch the delights of the Northern Lights.
